Dear FBMH students and researchers,
The NorthWest Biotech Initiative would like to invite you to an exciting seminar – free to attend, and open to all undergraduates and postgraduates with an interest in biotechnology and business.
The event will take place in the Alan Turing Building, G.205.
In the biotech world, as few as 1 in 200 start-ups achieve commercial success. In such a high risk sector, how do investors make decisions?
Dr Gareth King (Life Science Partner), and Emma Johnson (Investment Analyst) will guide us through the investment journey, explaining how they make decisions and what stages of development they operate within. They will also give case studies of some of their past and current investments.
