 us two curves\n\nAbstract: There are two key invariants of an abelian va
 riety over a field of positive characteristic: its automorphism group an
 d its p-rank. In this talk\, I will explain what these two invariants ar
 e and discuss how they are related in the case of Jacobians of curves of
  genus two. In order to do this\, I will show how to construct equations
  for the coarse moduli space of genus two curves\, and how to compute bo
 th the strata of curves with a fixed automorphism and the strata of curv
 es with a fixed p-rank. Finally\, I will briefly discuss how learning ab
 out the intersections of these strata can help us understand some intere
 sting examples of K3 surfaces in positive characteristic\n\nRoom: Frank
