The Dalton Seminar Series aims to promote exchange and offer informative events across institutions and facilities associated with The University of Manchester’s Dalton Nuclear Institute.

Biography: Dr Donna Connor has a degree and PhD in Materials Engineering, as well as professional qualifications in Knowledge management, Quality and Control Systems. She has had an exciting and varied career at Sellafield over the past 23 years. She is currently Technical Programme Manager for the Operations Division. In her previous role as Head of Technical Capability she had responsibility for the professional development of 600 science/ engineering related professionals. She is an active STEM ambassador and has recently been appointed a Director of the Energy Coast University Technical College (UTC). She is also a member of the Women in Nuclear (WiN) Executive, leading on the introduction of a national charter and the development of an industry toolkit.
