 econd seminars by leading researchers in Manchester on biomedical topics
  of general interest. Each event will also be filmed.\n\n'''Delivery:'''
 \nThe aim of these one-minute seminars is to make complex topics accessi
 ble in a short period of time and inspire the listener to find out more 
 after the speakers have presented. We envisage running four events durin
 g spring/summer 2013 aimed at different audiences: whilst each will have
  a different character\, the concept is similar.\n\nThe next M-cubed eve
 nt (Manchester Minute Microlectures) will be held this Thursday evening 
 at Manchester Museum. Six biomedical researchers will share their enthus
 iasm and expertise by giving a pitch about their work in just one minute
 .\n\nTalks start at 7pm and will be followed by refreshments\, so join u
 s to meet some inspiring people and hear about some incredible research.
  There are many other exciting activities happening at the Museum that e
 vening for the ‘After Hours’ event\, with various artists presenting aro
 und the galleries. \n\nFind us next to the ‘Living World’ exhibition on 
 the first floor. \nFree – suitable for anyone aged 14+.\n\nThis project 
 builds upon a successful model pioneered by American universities. Resea
 rchers give their microlecture in a public space and it is filmed so peo
 ple can also watch the short talks online. M-cubed is funded by the Well
 come Trust and Nowgen is one of the organisers\, so these talks are all
