About the event:
The final Enterprise Forum event for this academic year will be joined by Phil Ternouth, an internationally renowned expert on deriving economic impact from academic research, and advisor to the UK government on Knowledge Transfer.
The theme is: "Challenges in the communication and development of economic impact and approaches to overcoming them"
This will be a great opportunity to learn more about communicating economic impact from translational (or curiosity-driven) research. This should be valuable in preparing impact statements and more broadly providing evidence for the impact of your research.
A networking buffet lunch will be available from 1 - 1.30pm. Additionally, Phil will be available for one to one meetings from 2pm - please let Zoher Kapacee (Zoher.kapacee@manchester.ac.uk) know if you are interested in talking to him on a specific project.
