See monster hurricanes, canyons and volcanoes, weird and wonderful moons, crashing comets and hear about the death of the dinosaurs in an illustrated tour of the solar system from the inferno at the heart of the Sun, to the frozen-air snows of the frigid moon Triton. In this talk, Professor Don Kurtz from the University of Central Lancashire will examine the vulnerability of the Earth as seen against the harsh reality of the rest of the solar system.
