For the last year the Austerity and Altered Life-Courses team at the University of Manchester have been working with Manchester City Council to consider innovative urban policy strategies on poverty and austerity in Manchester (more here). Part of this work has involved creating a short report; ‘International Innovations in Childcare – What can Manchester share and learn?’.
The report focuses on childcare in Barcelona (Spain), Cagliari (Sardinia) and Manchester (UK) to bring together learning across the three regions with the aim of thinking about hopeful practice, innovation and future possibilities for change.
