DESCRIPTION:CoDE are holding a major two-day conference in Manchester to 
 discuss the outcomes of its first four years of work. \n\nThe ambitious 
 intention of the conference is to bring a wide range of constituencies i
 nto dialogue – the public\, policy makers\, NGOs\, politicians\, the med
 ia and academics – around our emerging findings on the patterning and dr
 ivers of ethnic inequalities across a range of domains.\n\nThe conferenc
 e will consist of a mix of activities:\n\nPlenary presentations from hig
 h profile figures in the field\;\nThemed sessions summarising the key fi
 ndings and policy implications of our research (organised around topics 
 such as Employment and education\, Migration\, place and community\, Hea
 lth and wellbeing\, Racisms\, Politics and political representation)\;\n
 Workshops to discuss and debate the state of race/ethnicity in the UK in
  the light of our research\;\nQuestion panel style discussions\, with pa
 nels comprised of experts from a range of fields\;\nInteractive exhibiti
 ons\;\nSpoken word and graphic artists.\n\n* Please note the venue is fu
 lly accessible\, and there will be a designated prayer space. Should you
