DESCRIPTION:Part of FLARE15\, the International Festival of New Theatre:\
nAshley Williams (UK) presents ‘The Circulation Game’ and Leentje Van de
Cruys and University of Salford (BE/UK) present ‘Whoaaa Steady!’\n\nThe
Circulation Game \nThe Circulation Game is a solo performance that uses
digital storytelling devices to ‘illustrate’ its meaning. The piece na
rrates a journey through a young man's mind\, capturing the problems fac
ed by his now lost generation\, from Indiana Jones to the meaning of exi
stence and back again. \n\nAshley Williams is solo performance theatre m
aker\, recently graduated from the University of Chichester. His work fo
cuses on contemporary performance practice\, electro-acoustic compositio
n and new-media technologies in and for performance.\n\n\nWhoaaa Steady!
\nThe British are weird. Take\, for example\, the racecourse: an intrigu
ing world full of unexpected characters: 'enthusiasts\, horseys\, addict
 s\, anoraks\, socials\, pair-bonders\, suits and be-seens'.\n\nInspired
by anthropologist Kate Fox's book 'The Racing Tribe'\, Whoaaa Steady! wa
tches the horse-watchers. A show about horses\, humans and... well\, be
ing British (and weird). Giddy-up!\n\nBelgian actress and theatre-maker
Leentje Van de Cruys has been making quirky solo performances about dome
sticity and women’s identity for the last 8 years. She also performs and
tours with Quarantine\, Reckless Sleepers and Proto-type Theater\, and
lecturers at MMU and Lancaster University. \n\n\nPLEASE NOTE: Age adviso
