DESCRIPTION:This Christmas we will be hosting three consecutive evening l
 ectures which form part of our very popular Lovell Lecture series.\n\nWe
  are delighted to have Dr Sarah Crowther who will be giving a talk on Un
 ravelling the Solar System\n\nHave you ever wondered how the Earth and t
 he other planets formed? Learn about the history of the Solar System and
  how scientists at The University of Manchester are using high tech tech
 niques to study meteorites\, comets and more in the lab.\n\nDr Sarah Cro
 wther works at The University of Manchester investigating the origins an
 d evolution of our Solar System. She studies meteorites to calculate how
  old they are and learn more about the physical processes that occurred 
 in the early Solar System. She is also involved with studying samples of
  the solar wind collected by NASA's Genesis and samples from comet Wild 
 2 collected by NASA's Stardust mission. \n\nTICKETS FOR THE 12th DECEMBE

  award winning cafe will be serving delicious pre-lecture dinners. Take
