DESCRIPTION:How is health data used in harmony with research? Health data
  research group Connected Health Cities and composers from the Royal Nor
 thern College of Music are collaborating to transform five key projects 
 into contemporary musical pieces.\n\nIf you could hear your health data\
 , what would it sound like?\n\nConnected Heath Cities (CHC) has been con
 ducting research across the North of England\, using health data to impr
 ove the lives of patients and increase our understanding of disease.\n\n
 Now\, CHC is bringing its research out of the lab by collaborating with 
 composers from PRiSM (RNCM Centre for Practice and Research in Science a
 nd Music) to transform five key projects into contemporary musical piece
 s.\n\nCome and find out how health data is used in harmony with research
  at a live performance at Manchester Museum\, from making sure that stro
 ke patients are identified and treated as quickly as possible to improvi
 ng care for children with asthma.\n\nThis is part of CHC’s wider commitm
 ent to engage the public in the discussion on the use of health data in 
 health and social care research and NHS service improvement with their s
 uccessful public campaign #DataSavesLives. CHC is a project led by the N
 orthern Health Science Alliance and funded by the Department of Health.
