 ‘I hope to God she behaved herself’ wrote Sir Francis when she    arrive
 d at Lyme after marrying Fleetwood Legh the heir to that great estate.  
 She did but tragedy ensued and she was a left a widow.  Later\, she marr
 ied Sir John Byrne and finally provided Tabley with a male heir\, Sir Pe
 ter Byrne Leicester.  This is a fascinating glimpse of little-known youn
 g woman’s life\, a life crucial to the survival of  the Leicester family
  of Tabley.\n\nFollowing the talk tea and homemade cake will be served a
