Thursday 5th March 2015, 1-3pm
C1.18 Ellen Wilkinson Building
Richard Conibere is currently studying for his Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Statistics and Geography at The University of Manchester.
In the early 2000s Richard worked at the Truth and Reconciliation Commission for Sierra Leone, managing and researching the 7,000 statements on wartime experiences that spanned the conflict from 1991 to 2000. In this Speaker Series Richard discusses his legacy work with the TRC, mapping the 40,000 violations to present an interactive history of the conflict.
