On 7 July 2020, The University of Manchester at Harwell ran a two part explosive awareness training course in collaboration with Cranfield University. The course covered the:
1. Science and hazard of explosives
2. Law, safety and classification of explosives.
The course was specifically tailored to support the Harwell National Facilities Safety Officers with execution of experiments involving explosives at Diamond Synchrotron and ISIS Neutron Source.
