DESCRIPTION:This collective seminar will feature three short talks showca
 sing recent key publications in the field of literary translation: Trans
 lation as Creative-Critical Practice (2023) by Delphine Grass\; Translat
 ions and Copyright in the Italian Book Trade: Publishers\, Agents\, and 
 the State (1900–1947) (2024) by Anna Lanfranchi\; and Translation Multip
 les: From Global Culture to Postcommunist Democracy (2025) by Kasia Szym
 a?ska.\n\nThe talks will be followed by a discussion of recent trends in
  literary translation research\, including the visibility of translation
  through self-reflexive narratives and the role of publishers and other 
 agents in the translation process. Two responses from translation studie
 s scholars – Ruth Abou Rached (University of Manchester) and Ewa Rajewsk
 a (Adam Mickiewicz University\, Pozna?) – will follow\, before the forum
