As part of the Arts Methods workshop series, please join us for a talk and Q&A on working with cultural partners and non-HEIs.
This information session focuses on helping PGRs preparing to work with cultural partners and non-HEIs, either for present research or as part of postdoctoral research and applications. The session will include: how to consider and develop your priorities, expectations, and goals in working with non-HEIs, setting up a working plan, ensuring clear communication, meeting the team and key people, ensuring role clarity, and working as a visitor with confidence.
The session will be led by Dr David Firth, who will discuss good practice and share his own experience winning a postdoctoral fellowship with the AHRC as part of the Creative Economy Engagement Fund, and developing a programme of research and public engagement activities with a cultural partner, the Foundation for Art and Creative Technology (FACT), in Liverpool.
Please register in advance to book your place. The Zoom link will be sent out directly to registered participants on the day.
