We are happy to invite you to the first SQUIDS seminar for this term; it will take place on Wednesday, October 4th ’23 in room G.114 in the Alan Turing Building. Speaker is our new colleague Madhu Bhattacharjee. Madhu will follow the new pretalk + research talk format. In between the two talks, we will have a short break.

- 2:30pm: pretalk 'A brief and selective review of applications of RMT’
- 3:05pm: research talk 'Estimation of rectangular random matrices: Applications to high-dimensional biological data’
