Systems Medicine is an approach to medical research and practice that integrates a wide variety of medical and biological data at multiple levels of anatomical organsation. These datea are integrated through computational modelling techniques to facilitate our understanding physiology, disease, diagnosis and treatment.
The academics of the University of Manchester are uniquely placed to exploit this interdisciplinary field which is attracting increasing interest from funders. The aim of this event is to bring our researchers together from across all faculties, showcasing work in this field already being undertaken whilst also exploring opportunities and ideas for new projects and collaborations.
