11am-4pm. Come & see what’s growing on the allotment. Decorate recycled yogurt pots and plastic cups to create your personalised plant pot to take home. You can also make colourful plant labels.
Tuesday 3-Thursday 5 & Tuesday 10-Thursday 12 April, 1-3pm: Plant a Turing Sunflower
World famous for his work on computing, Alan Turing also suggested that everything from tiger stripes to the seed patterns in sunflower heads are linked to mathematics. Plant a Turing Sunflower and get involved in an exciting experiment to celebrate his centenary. Planting will take place at The Manchester Museum and is part of the Turing's Sunflowers project at MOSI.
