Digital Humanities Seminar to be given by Dr Michael Falk, Lecturer in Eighteenth-Century Studies at the University of Kent. Dr Falk is a digital humanist and scholar of eighteenth-century literature on a global scale. He researches how core concepts such as ‘modernity’, ‘Enlightenment’ or the ‘self’ evolved across the world. He is currently at work on his monograph, Frankenstein’s Siblings: The Contingent Selves of Romantic Literature, and is an investigator on the SPARC-funded project DH in the Indian Rim.
