  will be giving a one off seminar at the University on "Lessons from a l
 ife in science: how to get a Nobel Prize"\n \nStarting from Peter Medawa
 r’s famous description of scientific research as “the art of the soluble
 ”\, in this general lecture 2001 Nobel Laureate in Medicine Tim Hunt wil
 l describe how he chose his research questions and how he came upon thei
 r solutions. Relying on what he describes as his particular ability for 
 “Spotting tiny clues that give the game away”\, he reveals how the answe
 rs revealed themselves “Often more by luck than full-frontal attack”.\n 
 \nThis will be a fantastic opportunity to hear an internationally renown
 ed scientist give a lecture in Manchester and there will be opportunity 
 to ask questions after the seminar. We are expecting a high turnout so p
 lease ensure you are at the theatre in plenty of time\, this is a free e
 vent and registration is not necessary\, all are welcome.
