In September the Manchester SIAM-IMA Student Chapter will be hosting a workshop on the Julia programming language. This two day event will include talks from guest speakers and practical sessions.
The workshop will begin with an introduction to the Julia language, so no previous experience is necessary, and with talks coming from as varied fields as computational biology and materials science, this is a great opportunity to investigate how Julia could help you with your research.

Please note that this event is free for student only, and £25 for non-students.
