To showcase the research of The University of Manchester’s Migration Lab and the University’s Global Inequalities Research Beacon, our researchers have teamed up with the acclaimed Take Back Theatre company (Julie Hesmondhalgh, Becx Harrison and Grant Archer) on a new piece of theatre which uses installation, multimedia and live performance.
Based on people’s real stories and using every corner of Hope Mill Theatre, you will go on a journey through borders to belonging via a unique theatrical experience. Each performance will be followed by an opportunity to explore issues further in a Q&A session with University researchers from 9-10pm.
These events take place at Hope Mill Theatre, 113 Pollard St, Manchester M4 7JA. Proceeds go to support local migrants and refugees . To book please click here.
