The event is aimed at people who have never used the Harwell facilities and also experienced users. On day 1, representatives from Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) will showcase the capabilities of Diamond Light Source, ISIS Neutron & Muon Source and the Scientific Computing Division. The day will close with a networking session.
On Day 2, event participants will identify and explore research opportunities during sand-pit sessions.
The UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) at Culham and the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) science division at Buxton, will also be represented at the event.
The University of Manchester at Harwell (UoMaH) is led by Professor Neil Bourne and based in Diamond Light Source in Oxfordshire. It is a portal between the Harwell community and University of Manchester researchers.
