 ardas and animator Anna R?kas.\n \nO!PLA is a non-profit project to prom
 ote the art of animation in Poland and abroad. It is organised by cultur
 al activist Piotr Kardas through the initiative ‘Animation across Border
 s’. Visual Dialogues will screen a selection of the awarded animations f
 rom the festival held 2014\, followed by a Q&A with the organiser and on
 e of the film-makers. Kardas will participate through Skype addressing c
 ultural activism\, the scene of Polish animators and the future of anima
 tion. Anna R?kas will discuss her stop-motion film ‘The Wire Man’ in rel
 ation to the materiality of plasticine animation.
