DESCRIPTION:Visitors to Manchester Museum will have another opportunity t
 o stick together broken pottery from excavations in Manchester. It is a 
 little-known fact that when archaeologists were digging on the site of t
 he Roman fort in Manchester during the 1970s they kept the Victorian and
  Edwardian pottery that they disturbed. This material is the archaeologi
 cal equivalent of a jigsaw\, except that some of the pieces are missing 
 and we don’t have a picture on the outside of the box to help us.  This 
 hasn’t stopped previous visitors putting together teapots\, mugs and cha
 mber pots. Come along to the Dig Greater Manchester Festival of Archaeol
