The MCCIR will hold its second workshop event (organised by Dan Davis) to be on imaging, with a focus on optical/fluorescence microscopy - including several types of super-resolution microscopy - for understanding cell biology relevant to health and disease. The workshop will be on Tuesday 30th September, 10:30-5pm at Staff House (Room 4/5), neat to Manchester Piccadilly Train Station.
There will be at least three keynote speakers at this event; Professor Paul French (Imperial College London), Professor Ilan Davis (University of Oxford), and Professor Mike White (University of Manchester).
There will also be several shorter presentations, including Christoph Ballestrem, and representatives from pharma (GSK and AstraZeneca), as well as time for discussion. The schedule and a full list of presenters will be finalised shortly. For now, please email Helen Tweddle: Helen.tweddle@manchester.ac.uk if you would like to attend. Please do this ASAP as spaces are limited and will be based on a first come - first served basis. Do not hesitate to contact me or Helen Tweddle if you wish for further information.
