21st Century Nature Collecting
How did scientists collect nature samples in the past? How is it different today?
Compare different types of museum collecting by meeting curators and experts and exploring the museum, then become a citizen scientist and discover the nature living on our doorstep.
You'll also discover how we care for our live animal collection, and try out the amazing citizen science app that has helped the museum identify new species.
This workshop will take place both inside and outside the museum, whatever the weather, so please dress accordingly.
Please stay in your family/friend groups whilst taking part in activities.
FREE, Families with children ages 7 plus with accompanying parents/carers, spaces are limited and booking is essential.
