DESCRIPTION:The next School of Mathematics Postgraduate Open Day for both
  taught and research programmes will be held on Wednesday 14th February 
 2018\n\nMeeting potential MSc/PhD students\nThe afternoon will begin wit
 h an introductory talk on MSc and PhD study by the Postgraduate Taught D
 irector\, Dr Peter Foster and the Postgraduate Research Director\, Prof 
 Matthias Heil. You will also have the opportunity to discuss postgraduat
 e studies with Academics and current students as well as taking a tour o
 f the Alan Turing Building. \n\nRegistration for the event is now live.\
 n\nPlease see below for the programme of events:\n\n 13.30 – Registratio
 n\n\n 14.00 - 'Introduction to MSc & PhD Study’ by the MSc Director Dr P
 eter Foster and the PhD Director Prof Matthias Heil to be followed by an
  introduction to the Postgraduate Programme Directors\, in Frank Adams 1
  & 2\, 1st floor of the Alan Turing Building.\n\n 15.00 - Refreshments o
 n the Atrium Bridge. This will provide an opportunity for informal discu
 ssions about our postgraduate programmes with Academics and current stud
 ents.\n\n 16.00 - Tour of the Alan Turing Building\n\n 16.30 – Close
