DESCRIPTION:The Faculty of Life Sciences at The University of Manchester 
 is opening its doors to the public in a fun family-friendly day on Satur
 day 30th June.\n \n• Come and look around. You can have a go at experime
 nts in our laboratories\, see our robots at work and watch living things
  under our million pound microscopes!!\n\n• Get hands on with our intera
 ctive activities. Kids (and adults!) can get hands on with creepy crawli
 es\, make edible cells out of cookies\, paint with maggots\, find out ho
 w the heart works and get up close to some slimy amphibians!\n\n• Meet t
 he scientists. Our scientists will be there to talk to you about what th
 ey do\, cancer research\, obesity busting\, brain imaging\, biofuel deve
 lopment and much more.\n\n• There will also be live music\, face paintin
 g and creepy crawly crafts.\n\nThis is a FREE event with free parking\, 
 suitable for all ages.\nNo need to book just drop in.\nJust follow the r
 ed balloons and footprints from the Manchester Museum on Oxford Road to 
 find us.\n
