DESCRIPTION:Abstract\n\nComputer graphics\, image processing and visual c
 omputing in general are deeply intertwined with human vision. This talk 
 will present how applied perception principles can be used enhance visua
 l fidelity and efficiency. This will be demonstrated by examples from pr
 ojects in computer graphics\, high dynamic range imaging with applicatio
 ns in various domains. In particular a framework of how to identify the 
 best parameters to adopt in virtual environments will be presented. \n
