The built environment can provide a fertile subject area for exploration in the arts and humanities. However, to those with little in the way of architectural training, it may be quite daunting to think about how best to utilise buildings and streets in their research.
This workshop gives an insight into the analytical tools and techniques that can be utilised to learn from buildings. It will also introduce participants to key sources and will provide a case study example that participants can work through. The workshop will also cover practical issues such as where to search for information and copyright difficulties.
Booking required through the training catalogue https://app.manchester.ac.uk/SALCS8914
