DESCRIPTION:We invite interested researchers to a brainstorming meeting t
 o discuss opportunities for research with Evergreen (https://www.evergre
 en-life.co.uk/personal-health-record) on Wednesday 25 September at 1pm-3
 pm in 2.326\, 2nd Floor\, Jean McFarlane Building.\n \nEvergreen Life Pe
 rsonal Health Record is a mobile app that allows patients to access all 
 their medical information including their GP records. The app was accred
 ited by the NHS in March and is now available for patients across Englan
 d to download. The app enables patients to add health and fitness inform
 ation such as blood pressure\, cholesterol or body measurements. A patie
 nt can also add your ‘over the counter’ medicines and it offers reminder
 s to take medicines. Biological material (e.g. DNA) can be collected by 
 patients and patient-tailored messages can be added to the app suited to
  a patient’s health conditions with links to articles and tips to help t
 o effectively manage their care (further details in the attachment).  Ov
 er half a million patients have now registered with this service. \n\nTh
 is meeting will explore possible opportunities for research and establis
 h links between researchers. Participants are requested to give a brief 
 one slide presentation about any unpolished idea for research with this 
 resource. A representative of Evergreen will be present to answer any qu
