Lord Professor Meghnad Desai will give a free public lecture at The University of Manchester followed by a Q&A with the University's Professor Diana Mitlin - academic lead for the Global Inequalities research beacon.
Speaking on "Economic Growth: Geopolitical game or addressing global inequalities?", Lord Desai will touch on the role of innovation in stimulating economies. He will also draw on his recent book, 'Politicshock: Trump, Modi, Brexit and the Prospects for Liberal democracy'.
