DESCRIPTION:As part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science\, Sarah MacQua
 rrie and Alexandra Hennessey from the Manchester Institute of Education 
 are leading a drop-in event to explore how play\, physical activity and 
 engaging with green spaces shape the wellbeing and mental health of chil
 dren and young people. They will be sharing: \n- Practical\, research-in
 formed strategies for play\, physical activity\, and green spaces\n- Ins
 ights from children and young people’s real experiences\n- Latest policy
  updates and actionable ideas for schools and communities\n- Networking 
 with peers across sectors\n- Access to a curated online resource after t
 he event\n\nThis event is open to all and is of particular interest to: 
 \n- Teachers\, education professionals (primary\, secondary\, special)\n
 - Policy professionals in education\, health\, youth\, urban planning\n-
  Practitioners in health\, youth work\, social care\n- Community leaders
  and advocates for children’s wellbeing\n- Anyone supporting children an
 d young people’s wellbeing \n\nYou’re welcome to drop in at any time bet
 ween 4–7pm. However\, we kindly recommend arriving during your booked ti
 me slot to ensure you have the opportunity to speak directly with Sarah
