SEED's annual Social Responsibility Lecture will see Professor Kalwant Bhopal using her research to discuss BME experiences in higher education.

Kalwant is Professor of Education and Social Justice and Professorial Research Fellow in the Centre for Research in Race and Education in the School of Education, University of Birmingham. She has used her research to inform policy making in higher education, particularly the development of the Race Equality Charter mark.

The free, open-to-all event, 'BME experiences in higher education: inclusion, equity and social justice', will kick off at 4.30pm with a welcome reception and a showcase of SEED social responsibility work, with the hour-long lecture beginning at 5.15pm.
