Urban Forum & Exhibition Launch
Manchester is home to a vibrant and active artistic community. But can the city nurture and sustain a robust creative economy in the long term? And what are the implications for those who work within it? In this panel discussion, we will explore current and future issues of pay and compensation for the ‘creative precariat’, modes of support provided by local authorities and third sector organisations, and the role of further and higher education in developing skills and employability.
This event also launches an exhibition of the winning images from the recent #cityfuturesmcr Instagram competition. The exhibition will be held at Twenty Twenty Two 20-22 May.
Followed by complimentary refreshments.
