DESCRIPTION:“Creating AI applications": Artificial Intelligence will foll
 ow the same path as previous technologies where what was once technicall
 y complex and difficult quickly becomes something that everyone can do. 
 It is already possible for people with limited technical understanding t
 o create complex AI-driven applications\, and this workshop will introdu
 ce teachers to tools and techniques with which everyone (including learn
 ers) can create web-based applications to assist learning. Among these t
 echniques are facilities for creating applications without any need for 
 individual subscription to AI services. In exploring these techniques\, 
 we will discuss the broader implications for the design of learning and 
 the coordination of learning conversations.
