CALL FOR PAPERS
Communities of Print, a project based at Manchester Metropolitan University and run in conjunction with Chetham’s Library and John Rylands Library, is hosting a conference at the historic Chetham’s Library in Manchester. The conference welcomes papers from postgraduate researchers with an interest in the materiality of print, texts and reading, broadly defined, from c1400 to c1700.
Proposals, including a title and abstract (100-150 words for 10 minute paper, with 5 minutes for questions), should be submitted, along with a biographical sentence or two outlining your institution and research interests, to Jessica Purdy (j.purdy@mmu.ac.uk) by Friday 8 June 2018. Please feel free to contact Jessica with any queries.
Travel costs for presenters will be covered by the conference organisers.
