DESCRIPTION:The rapid proliferation of online platforms for academic opin
 ion blogs are seeing increasing numbers of academics writing and posting
  about their subjects\, to help bring their research to wider audiences.
 \n\nThe Faculty is a financial contributor to The Conversation to ensure
  that its research community is offered the best possible chance of incr
 easing profile via the globally-leading academic Blog.\n\nThe Conversati
 on is also an essential resource for the media at home and overseas who 
 routinely search the site for sources of news and expertise to input int
 o print\, broadcast and online outputs.\n\nA number of academics in FBMH
  have already had success on the blog covering subjects as diverse as me
 ntal illness and addressing public concerns about how developments in vi
 rtual technology could help psychologists learn more about the human psy
 che.\n\nHealth Editor\, Clint Witchalls\, will be visiting the Faculty t
 o run a training session to enhance writing and engagement skills\, help
 ing to ensure that Faculty blogs are selected for publication. The train
 ing will cover creating opportunities for sharing research\, increasing 
 personal profile and broadening networks.\n\nIf you are an academic at a
