 bstract: The Zilber-Pink conjecture predicts that there should be only f
 initely many complex numbers t such that the three elliptic curves with 
 j-invariants t\, t+1\, t-1 are all isogenous to each other.  I will outl
 ine a proof of this case of the conjecture (joint work with Christopher 
 Daw).  The primary obstacle is proving Galois bounds for such t.  We sol
 ve this by studying "p-adic periods" of elliptic curves via the Tate uni
