DESCRIPTION:This one day course aims to provide a basic introduction to R
  and RStudio for those with no previous experience with this statistical
  programming language. We will discuss some of the motivations to use R 
 (instead of other applications) and will provide a practical introductio
 n to the basic grammar of R language. Specifically\, we will cover how t
 o create and import data into R and will provide an overview of the ggpl
 ot2 package for data visualisation. We will also introduce the rmarkdown
  language to generate fully reproducible reports and analysis. The cours
 e will also provide information on books and other various resources whe
 re you could continue your R training.
