DESCRIPTION:We are hosting an exciting cross-theme event between the Digi
 tal Futures Human-Centred Design\, Industry 5.0\, and Employment & Produ
 ctivity themes.\n\nAs we move towards more sophisticated automation\, it
  is increasingly important that everything we design has human understan
 ding\, behaviour and ethics at its centre. Researchers at the University
  are pioneering new methods for ensuring the technology we create has hu
 mans at its core and using these to engineer novel interfaces that will 
 transform our lives. Industry 5.0 integrates AI and the crucial and excl
 usively human strengths of problem-solving\, value-adding creativity\, a
 nd deep understanding of customers\, to improve products and productivit
 y and enable mass personalisation.\n\nThis event will bring together res
 earchers from across the University of Manchester's Digital Futures netw
 ork to discuss the crucial role of human factors in the future of design
