Each of us see and experience the world differently. This is an opportunity to ask ourselves - how might others see and experience the world differently and how might that benefit me? Joy France is a performance artist and self-confessed ‘battle rapping Granny’. Joy is really passionate about how we connect with one another in the world. As a co-researcher in the GHIA project, Joy has conceived ‘ageing playfully’ as a way in which to explore the social value of Clarendon Park in Salford. Come and play.

This event is part of Who Cares? A growing collection of stories about people caring for nature across Greater Manchester. A Heritage Futures Studio Residency at Manchester Museum 29th April - 31st July 2019
In its first iteration, the Heritage Futures Studio Residency in Manchester Museum welcomes a growing collection of stories and programme of events. Curated by The University of Manchester's Institute of Cultural Practices postgraduate students together with researchers from the Green Infrastructure and Health and Wellbeing Influences on an Ageing Population (GHIA) project, we have asked ourselves; who cares for the nature across Greater Manchester and why does it matter that we continue to do so? www.ghia.org.uk www.whocares.uk
