Are you a healthcare professional interested in or engaged in research? Do you want to learn how you can integrate research into your clinical practice and make a real impact on patient care? Do you want to know how to get funded to start or to continue your research career?

Join us for the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Manchester Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) Healthcare Professional Showcase Event.

This event is designed for nurses, midwives, allied health professionals (AHPs), and other healthcare professionals working at Manchester BRC partner Trusts* who want to explore opportunities in research within Manchester BRC and hear inspiring career journeys from those who work with us.

We also welcome researchers and other staff members from Manchester BRC to attend. This is a great opportunity to gain deeper insights into the invaluable contributions of nurses, midwives, AHPs and other healthcare professionals to BRC research, as well as the unique knowledge and skills they bring to the research environment. By attending, you will not only broaden your understanding of their contributions but also explore ways to foster strong collaboration between clinical practice and research.

What to expect:

• Find out how the NIHR and Manchester BRC support healthcare professionals in research.

• Be inspired by hearing from healthcare professionals about their personal career journeys.

• Get practical guidance on starting and advancing a research career.

• Network with like-minded professionals and research leaders.
