DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to invite you to this CPC&HSR seminar where Pr
 ofessor Christian Mallen\, Director of the NIHR School for Primary Care 
 Research (NIHR SPCR)\, to talk to us about the new phase of the School. 
 Professor Kath Checkland will host the session.\n\n\nSummary\nThe recent
 ly reconfigured NIHR School for Primary Care Research has entered its 4t
 h phase\, with renewed membership and an expanded remit. In addition to 
 commissioning world leading primary care research and supporting outstan
 ding individuals to develop academic careers in primary care research\, 
 the latest phase will also be working more closely with non-school membe
 rs and with professional groups who are currently under represented. \nC
 hristian Mallen\, director of the NIHR SPCR will outline funding opportu
 nities across research and capacity building streams\, in addition to hi
 ghlighting some of the other programmes school members can access.   \n\
