The Cross Street Lecture, 'Byronic Legacies in Elizabeth's Gaskell's Fiction and Screen Adaptations of Her Work', will be given by Sarah Wootton (Durham). Presented by the 18th/19th c. Research Group (EAC). Dr. Wootton will be introduced by Ph.D candidate in English Literature Julie Casanova. The event will take place in the Sam Alex Bldg. A113 at 5pm. Reception to follow.
