This is a course on the FBMH Academic Development Programme, welcome to all colleagues within the Faculty.
This session offers an opportunity to understand and contextualise the landscape for international students, while also providing space to explore the concept of belonging from both personal and professional perspectives. Participants will hear directly from students about their experiences of belonging within the university community and gain practical tools and resources to support a sense of belonging in their own teaching—whether working with online or in-person learners.
Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs)
- Develop awareness of the University’s strategic approach to online learning.
- Identify and apply effective methods to foster a sense of belonging in both online and on-campus environments.
- Develop inclusive teaching and learning techniques specifically designed to support international students
The Facilitators will be joined by some students.
