Workshop for active materials experiments at Harwell
Workshop for development of equipment and processes for safe analysis of radioactive user samples using the beamlines on the Harwell site. We will focus on existing capability, science cases and user requirements for future development.

- 12:00-12:05 Opening - Prof Neil Bourne, Director of The University of Manchester at Harwell (UoMaH).
Active materials analysis cells under development
- 12:05-12:25 Paul Wady (UoMaH). Outline of current capabilities/developments.
- 12:25-12:45 David Dye (Imperial College London). Active handling cells for I12 tomography, diffraction and SAXS under stress, temperature and atmosphere.

- 13:30-13:50 Thomas Carey (National Nuclear Laboratory). Characterisation of contaminated concrete core retrieved from the cooling pond on the Hunterston nuclear site.
