DESCRIPTION:In anticipation of the opening of our Chinese Culture Gallery
  in 2021\, we’ll be welcoming in the Chinese year of the pig with an eve
 ning of culture\, music\, and film from one of the world’s\nfastest chan
 ging countries.\n\nWe will be joined by the Ying Hua Choir from Xin Hua 
 Chinese Association Chinese Association who will be performing on the ni
 ght (6.30pm and 7.30pm).\n\nThere will be a chance to take part in a Chi
 nese tea ceremony and a decorative knot making workshop with The Confuci
 us Institute at The University of Manchester.\n\nYou will be able to get
  up close with objects from the Museum's China collection.\n\nWe'll also
  have a collection of pig-related objects from across the collection to 
 celebrate the coming of the year of the pig.\n\nThis event is aimed at a
 dults and is free to drop-in.\n\nWe will also be screening the criticall
 y acclaimed film Youth - free tickets are available via the link.
